At the heart of Kitesong Global is the vision to inspire the pursuit of dreams.
This desire has transcended borders.
In 2018, Wai Jia gave a talk at Johns Hopkins University, which later led to the involvement of Jessica Sudarta, a professional harpist from Indonesia who was present at the talk.
Jessica not only felt burdened to translate Kitesong toolkits into her native language, but used them to bless rural communities in Indonesia through her foundation, Symphony of Heaven.
A year later, Symphony of Heaven carried out an outreach in Jatijajar, rural Indonesia, with a group of twenty children using our resources.
Through the story of Kitesong, and the writing of dreams on handmade kites, many were touched and encouraged to dream again.
